Student Success - Eddie Ojard
Congratulations to my student, Edward Ojard, who just won 1st prize this past weekend at the University of Northwestern - St. Paul Solo Piano Festival (Division 1)! After advancing to the finals, he was awarded 1st prize for his performance of J.S. Bach’s Prelude and Fugue in C minor from The Well-Tempered Clavier, Book 1. The judge described his playing as having “great clarity…character, rhythm, and energy” and “attention to every single note.”
To be playing this advanced repertoire with refinement at 11 years old is quite a feat. Congratulations, Eddie, and keep up the good work!
