Cancellation - Loyola University, NOLA

Performing for the Metairie Music Club, March 11th

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, Loyola University New Orleans has cancelled classes and events for the remainder of the semester. This decision has coincidentally fallen on the day before my recital and masterclass at the university! Unfortunately these two events on my calendar have been cancelled and will not be re-scheduled.

As many organizations have been doing, I was able to play to an empty hall at Loyola and record a portion of the solo recital in lieu of the actual event. Once that recording has become available, I will share it here on my website.

Thankfully I still had a fun and successful performance for the Metairie Music Club on Wednesday, 3/11! It was such a pleasure performing for this group again and reconnecting with my former manager, Melanie Perez. Thank you all for having me and hosting me during my brief trip to New Orleans. They showed true hospitality, especially as my luggage was delayed by the airlines (I normally don’t perform in jeans)!
